Our Mission

Fortius Sport & Health is an integrated athlete development centre strengthened through philanthropy and focused on optimizing human performance for life.


​​​​​​​We're proud that Fortius Sport & Health has attracted some of the leading names in sport and exercise medicine, working together as a fully integrated practitioner team. Our Fortius team works in tandem with our senior leadership and management to ensure integration, collaboration and innovation on multiple fronts.

Elizabeth Perrotta (On mat leave)<p>​​​​​​​​As part of the Fortius Lab team within Fortius Sport & Health, Certified Exercise Physiologist Elizabeth Perrotta brings experience in exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, phlebotomy and various sport specific certifications. Elizabeth has been published in a number of industry journals including the American College of Sports Medicine and the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. She has been a Guest Lecturer and Laboratory Instructor at the University of Calgary where she completed her Masters of Kinesiology, Specializing in Applied Exercise Physiology. Kasia Nastalska<p>​​​​​​Kasia is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, having completed her B.Sc. Exercise and Health Physiology in Calgary, Alberta. Her belief in "Exercise is Medicine" and preventive rather than traditional medicine is what drove her to work in Chronic Disease Management, working with clients to encourage healthy lifestyle change to prevent and/or manage disease. With a strong interest in business and project management, Kasia has also supervised one of the largest studies in Alberta – the Alberta Pregnancy Outcomes and Nutrition Study involving over 2500 participants over 4 years.
