 Our Team

Dani Langford

As part of the integrated practitioner team at Fortius Sport & Health, Physiotherapist Danielle Langford brings years of experience in physiotherapy, high level coaching (basketball) and training to the Fortius Institute. She is excited to join the Fortius team and work with athletes no matter at what point in their career. From the young developing athlete to the post- athlete or retired, she enjoys helping people achieve their goals to stay active and move efficiently. Danielle was a physiotherapist for the Para-Olympics during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games, one of six Fortius physiotherapists who played a part in providing medical services at the games. Being a high performance athlete throughout University gives her a unique perspective when working with clients. She has two CIS National Championships with the SFU women's basketball team which she captained for three years. Clinical Pilates became a therapeutic interest following her Australian training. Dani uses Pilates principles in addition to her manual therapy skills for movement retraining and physiotherapy treatment. The combination encourages proper movement patterns and core stabilization for her clients. In addition to her clinical work Dani will be assisting in running the Fortius Learn to Train program, working on physical literacy and motor development with young developing athletes.
