 Our Team

Dr. Meghan Grant

​Dr. Meghan Grant joins the Fortius Institute as a Sport Medicine Physician. She graduated from the McGill University School of Medicine as a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery in 2008. Meghan is currently working towards her Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of British Columbia with Fortius' Director of Sport Medicine; Dr. Jack Taunton. She is also pursuing additional specialty training in Emergency Medicine. Meghan is a competitive cyclist, both on the road and track and has provided medical coverage at multiple high profile races including the RBC Whistler Gran Fondo, BMX World Cup, and UBC Grand Prix. Meghan's research interests have been wide-ranging, from studying cardiac metabolism and respiratory physiology in the laboratory, to taking flight in the European Space Agency's 'Zero-G' aircraft to explore the human body's adaptations to microgravity.
