Erin Reid is a Registered Massage Therapist and the Director of Massage Therapy at Fortius. She is also the lead Massage Therapist for the MLS Vancouver Whitecaps.
Erin has 12 years' of experience helping athletes optimize their performance, injury prevention and recovery. Her passion for sport massage therapy has taken her around the world, from the Paralympic games in Beijing 2008, to the 2014 Commonwealth games in England. She also played a part in the Medical Services offering during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.
Erin has worked with a range of athletes and sports, from amateur to Olympic, Paralympic and professional levels. Some of her career highlights include being a Torch barrier for the 2010 Vancouver Paralympic Games, traveling to Brazil in 2009 for IPC Swimming World Championships and providing therapy for the performers of Vancouver Cirque du Soleil Totem and Kurious shows.
