Megan is a Certified Exercise Physiologist with a Master of Science degree from the University of Victoria and Canadian Sport Institute Pacific in Exercise Physiology. Her MSc research focus was on thermoregulation and its application to sport performance. Megan has experience working with recreational and elite athletes, as well as coaches and integrated support team members through testing and monitoring in the daily training environment and competition in swimming, wheelchair rugby, rowing, triathlon, snowboard, freestyle skiing, and soccer. She has worked as a laboratory instructor at the University of Victoria and as a contractor with a focus on researching and applying current trends in training, performance, health and wellness, program building, and athlete monitoring. Recently, Megan traveled to Honduras with Soccer Canada's U20 women as the team's sport scientist, where a 2nd place finish earned them a berth in the 2016 Papua New Guinea U20 World Cup.
Megan is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, hiking, cycling and playing and coaching ultimate Frisbee. She recently hiked the Appalachian Trail – a 2,189 mile scenic footpath in the Eastern US.
