Richard Zokol, a member of the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame, is a member of the Athlete Advisory Board of Fortius Sport & Health. Zokol, who also heads up the Predator Ridge Academy, is regarded as among the most progressive thinkers in the Canadian golf industry and has a reputation for his advocacy of both high performance techniques and greater inclusivity in golf participation. He continues to serve as a consultant on player development to Golf Canada. A product of Kitimat, B.C., Zokol attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and was captain of its 1981 NCAA champion golf team, the same year he earned an All-American selection and captured top honours at the Canadian Amateur Championship. He joined the PGA Tour later the same year and went on to post 20 top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a tournament win at the 1992 Greater Milwaukee Open and a 14th-place finish at the 1993 PGA Championship. He also won four other professional tournaments, including one each on the Canadian Tour and Nationwide Tour (now web.com Tour); the 1982 British Columbia Open and 2001 Samsung Canadian PGA Championship.
