The Fortius PowerWatts™ Cycling studio offers progressive, power based training to suit riders of all levels and aspirations. Unless otherwise indicated, Fortius PowerWatts™ Cycling workouts are 60 minutes in duration. Our weekly class schedule includes three different types of workouts, providing riders with a flexible approach to building a customized training program to meet their individual requirements. Our coaches would be pleased to assist you in planning the most appropriate class selection and training frequency.

Cycling is a repetitive sport and it is well documented that as many as 50% of cyclists will suffer from overuse knee pain. A proper bike fit and adequate training prevent injuries and improves cycling comfort, efficiency and performance of riders of any level.
Our bike fitter –
Noa Deutsch – has 9+ years of experience and extensive knowledge in physiology, anatomy, cycling specific injuries, biomechanics and coaching. She has worked with recreational athletes, Olympians and everyone in between. She has experience fitting Road, Time-Trial, Triathlon, Cyclocross, MTB and even a tandem!

Power at lactate threshold and pedal efficiency are among the most important determinants of cycling performance. VO2 measurement, lactate threshold and torque analysis will provide a tremendous amount of information to enable you to bring your training programs to the next level. These assessments are performed in our lab using the latest technology under the direction of our exercise physiologists, who will also help you to apply this information to optimize your training program.
For convenience, we offer three fitness assessment packages designed specifically to complement your PowerWatts™ training. We can also customize an assessment to meet your specific requirements.
