Performance Coach Curb Ivanic focuses on developing your speed, strength, mobility and resiliency and biomechanical and physiology assessments are included to help you reach your next goal.

3DRun Analysis: Through the use of three dimensional motion analysis technology and an instrumented force treadmill, we will be able to better understand mechanisms of existing (or potential future) injury and inform how to best optimize running performance.
Physiological Assessment (Lactate Threshold Test with VO2): Variables such as oxygen consumption, carbon dioxide production, blood lactate, ventilation rate and heart rate are measured. These measures are used to determine individual threshold intensities and help inform specific training zones to optimize training and threshold performance.

Join Coach Curb and a supportive group of runners to prepare for the BMO Vancouver Marathon and Half Marathon races on May 6, 2018.This clinic runs for 16 weeks and includes:
• A weekly coached group workout on Thursdays from 6 - 8pm in Burnaby at Fortius Sport & Health
• Hill training, speed workouts, running technique drills, mobility exercises, strength and core stability training
• Semi-individualized training programs of different levels to fit your experience and fitness level – you’ll know the exact pace you need to run for each workout to hit your race goal

Our run assessments are 60-minute sessions with a running coach, looking at mobility, strength and coordination to gain further insight into factors contributing to individual running biomechanics. In addition to the physical assessment, a thorough training history is discussed to identify any potential training errors that could have contributed to the runner's injury.
Cost: $100 + GST
Our running coach creates individualized 12-week training programs for runners to prepare for their next race or special event. The training schedule includes detailed weekly workouts with specific duration and paces to get the runner into peak shape for any race, from 5km to marathon distances.
Cost: $120 + GST
Run strength & conditioning coaches will work with runners to build strength, stamina and mobility specific to running. Workouts can be individualized, based upon a 3DRun Assessment, to address any deficiencies in strength, mobility or coordination.Cost: Dependent on training frequency
