Our Mission

Fortius Sport & Health is an integrated athlete development centre strengthened through philanthropy and focused on optimizing human performance for life.

Strength & Conditioning

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Fortius is home to a team of passionate, highly-educated and experienced strength & conditioning coaches from a variety of sport and health backgrounds.​

Our passionate team of strength & conditioning coaches have  a wide range of experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities, from recreational to professional, Olympic and Paralympic levels. All of our coaches are certified, highly-educated and committed to ongoing professional development.

Whether you are looking to become more active, are planning to run your first 5K, a competitive Master's athlete, or play in a national or professional league, we have the expertise and equipment to ensure you get the most out of your training. 


Our coaches offer private and semi-private training sessions to help individuals reach their health, fitness and sport performance goals. Sit down with a coach for a free 30-minute consultation to go over your goals and create a personalized plan to achieve success.

Note: The 25-pack to 100-pack sessions are only available for 1-on-1 coaching sessions. 


Our experienced coaches work with a variety of sports teams to customize performance training plans. Team sessions work to improve strength, power, speed, endurance and flexibility, tailored to the needs of your specific sport or performance goals. ​

Our sport scientists also offer individual and team testing from basic levels to comprehensive individualized sport-specific testing.

The Fortius Training Centre is also host to a variety of specialized sport and fitness group programs for youth to adult athletes. Each program runs for 12-weeks during the fall and winter/spring seasons, and on a modified 8-week cycle over the summer.

At Fortius, anyone with a body that is motivated, is a Fortius athlete. Our no-contract, month-to-month memberships are open to everyone, from recreational fitness enthusiasts to professional athletes.
