Danielle Langford

Danielle Langford

As part of the integrated practitioner team at Fortius Sport & Health, Physiotherapist Danielle Langford brings years of experience in physiotherapy, high level coaching (basketball) and training to the Fortius Institute. Dani enjoys helping people to achieve their goals of staying active and moving efficiently, from young and developing athletes, to retired athletes, and everyone in between. Having been a high performance athlete throughout university also gives her a unique perspective when working with athletic clients. In addition to her manual therapy skills, Dani utilizes the principles of Pilates to enhance movement training and treatment. She believes this combination encourages proper core stabilization and movement patterning for her clients.

Since beginning work at Fortius Sport & Health, Dani has been involved in the Learn to Train program, and spear-headed the development of the BACK in the Game program. Both programs work to promote physical literacy and motor development in younger, developing athletes. BACK in the Game, however, is unique in the Lower Mainland for its focus on helping youth with back pain return to the sports and activities that they love.
