Dr. Heather Wray – Mat Leave

Sports Medicine Physician

​​​Dr. Heather Wray is a primary care sport & exercise medicine physician at the Fortius Sports Medicine Clinic. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Health Physiology and practiced as an exercise physiologist prior to entering the profession of medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Calgary in 2010, and subsequently completed both her Family Medicine Residency and Sport & Exercise Medicine Fellowship in at the University of Toronto. Dr. Wray sees patients of any age and athletic level. Her specialty interests include endurance sport, soccer, and dance medicine. She has provided medical coverage at a variety of athletic events, including the Pan Am Games, Penticton Ironman, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and National Ballet performances. Dr. Wray also has a keen public health interest in the relationship between our built environment and community wellness.
