Kasia Nastalska

Applied Sport Scientist, Physiology

Kasia is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, having completed her B.Sc. Exercise and Health Physiology in Calgary, Alberta. Her belief in "Exercise is Medicine" and preventive rather than traditional medicine is what drove her to work in Chronic Disease Management, working with clients to encourage healthy lifestyle change to prevent and/or manage disease. With a strong interest in business and project management, Kasia has also supervised one of the largest studies in Alberta – the Alberta Pregnancy Outcomes and Nutrition Study involving over 2500 participants over 4 years. Kasia is currently a Client Experience Manager at Fortius Sport & Health and has helped develop, pilot and manage a number of programs including the KidsMove Physical Literacy Program, Fortius'  Health and Performance Optimization Program and the Burnaby Fire Health & Wellness Program.​
