Originally from Quebec, Zach competed in a variety of sports, starting in short-track speed skating, moving to road cycling and then onto varsity cross-country running. After graduating with a bachelors of commerce from Montreal's Concordia University, he is now pursuing his running career on the west coast, with a healthy dose of mountain biking, road cycling and skiing sprinkled on top. Zach began his experience with PowerWatts™ in Montreal, where some of the most senior coaches trained and mentored him. Running being his primary focus, he's working towards faster 5k and 10k to soon break into the half-marathon and marathon sub-elite category. Zach has always been passionate for science, and human and animal healthcare. Finally, Zach has been living with type 1 diabetes since 2015. He enjoys teaching the curious and newly diagnosed about diabetes and athletics.
