Originally from Quebec, Zach competed in a variety of sports, from short-track speed skating to road cycling and varsity cross-country running. Zach began his experience with PowerWatts™ in Montreal, where some of the most senior coaches and founding members trained and mentored him. After graduating with a bachelors of commerce from Concordia University, he moved west to pursue skiing and mountain biking – mountain biking quickly became his primary focus. Today, he’s working towards increasing fitness and speed on the bike to possibly explore the marathon xc and enduro racing scene. Zach has also always been passionate about science, and human and animal healthcare. He has been living with type 1 diabetes since 2015, and enjoys teaching the curious and newly diagnosed about diabetes and athletics.
