Self-care education and techniques to manage your recovery from sport and training.
Recovery is a five-week program that educates participants on a variety of self-care techniques to manage the body’s response and recovery from sport and training.
Each class within the 5 week cycle will have a different focus, including: ball and foam roller release, breathing techniques, stretching and muscle activation. Classes will also focus on self assessment and body awareness.
Recovery is intended for anyone interested in managing their own muscle tightness, or improving their recovery time between sports and activities. Modifications will be provided if needed, but participants should be comfortable to do a variety of poses on the floor in seated and lying down positions. Some standing and gentle movements may also be incorporated.
